New research out of Calgary may be the motivation some Canadians need to get in shape.
“The evidence is clear that thousands of cancers could be prevented each year if people paid more attention to diet and exercise.”
Led by Dr. Darren Brenner of the department of Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Research with Alberta Health Services, the study suggests more than 12,000 Canadians develop cancer because of excess body weight and physical inactivity each year.
