Congratulations to Dr. Miranda Fidler-Benaoudia and her colleagues in their recent success in the Spring 2020 CIHR Project Scheme competition. Their study is entitled “Oncofertility among adolescent and young adult cancer survivors in Alberta: a mixed methods study”. Miranda is leading a large multi-disciplinary team that will examine oncofertility among adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors from Alberta. They will investigate oncofertility usage and related costs and will also evaluate patient-reported knowledge, beliefs, concerns, and needs about oncofertility and sexual health. Finally, they plan to explore experiences and contextual factors influencing reproductive choices.
