Congratulations to Dr. Darren Brenner on his promotion to Associate Professor with tenure in the Departments of Oncology and Community Health Sciences, Cumming School of Medicine. This promotion is effective as of July 1, 2021 and was well-supported by his department heads. Darren has established a very strong track record of research productivity, teaching, mentorship, graduate student supervision and training of postdoctoral fellows. He has many research collaborations on-going within Alberta and nationally and is also contributing significantly to both the Canadian Cancer Society’s annual cancer statistics and to the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer with their Oncosim modelling work.
