Drs. Colleen Cuthbert and Lin Yang (co-PIs) and their co-investigators (Drs. Darren Brenner, Winson Cheung, Nicole Culos-Reed, Christie Farrer, Safiya Karim, Dylan O’Sullivan, Patricia Tang) received a one-year $100K patient-oriented research priority grant from CIHR for the CRC-Tai Chi trial. Their submission to the fall CIHR project grant competition just missed the funding cut-off and so they are resubmitting that grant in the March 2023 CIHR competition. Their grant request is for 4 years of funding to conduct a Tai Chi intervention among long-term colorectal cancer survivors to manage bowel function.
