Dr. Dylan O’Sullivan has been accepted to attend the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) Integrative Molecular Epidemiology Workshop: Bridging Cancer Biology and Precision Medicine in Boston, MA from July 24-28/23. This workshop targets trainees and early career investigators who must be well-skilled in the integration of biology and epidemiology in the studies of etiology and outcome. The workshop includes faculty and lecturers from across the USA who are molecular epidemiologists, geneticists, statisticians, bioinformaticians, molecular biologists. The workshop uses a cross-disciplinary, team science approach and covers many topics in molecular epidemiology. It is supported by the US National Cancer Institute. Dylan submitted a detailed application and selection of applicants was done through a competitive process since only 50 participants are accepted annually. Hence, it is a great honour for him to have been selected as a Canadian to this workshop.
